He again asked for peace in the Middle East. This time in front of representatives of Eastern Orthodox churches.
He ordained 19 priests on the “World Day of Prayer for Vocations.”
During his visit, he told Roman citizens to “take care of one another, to be close to each other and to respect each other.”
