“May the difficulties of this time allow us to discover the communion between us,” he said.
“There are always illusions which attract attention, and many times we want to chase these illusions,” he said.
In his daily homily, he said, “Our faithfulness is always the answer to that faithfulness which precedes us.”
“They are our roots, our history. They have given us the faith, tradition, a sense of belonging to a homeland,” he said.
